It’s been a couple of months since I’ve done a Keto Krate review, but I look forward to my box of snacks arriving each month.
Every month Keto Krate sells out, some boxes earlier than others. Before I get into this review, I just want to let you know that if you want this particular box, order quickly!
Keto Krate showing up every month will provide you with lots of new low carb foods to try. Most of the items are snack foods, which is great because with most snack items coming in multi-packs, this allows you the ability to try before you buy.

July 2021 Keto Krate Review
The individual prices listed are from the Keto Krate website. In most cases, items are only sold online in bulk packages. Some items may be available in stores. Prices may vary.
This Keto Krate review includes some basic information about each product including the approximate price, some nutrition facts, any sweeteners in the ingredients, and my own personal thoughts on the product after sampling it.
Keto and Co Peanut Butter Crunch Keto Granola
Price: $11.99 (I am not sure why, but KetoKrate has the value for this granola listed for $2.00 on their website). It’s currently $9.99 on Amazon.
Nutrition: Each serving has 2.7 gram of net carbs, 13 grams of fat, 4 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: Wondrose (erythritol, monk fruit)
Review: this is really, really good. The coconut flavor and texture does come through, but I love coconut so that doesn’t bother me at all. You can also taste the peanut butter. This is delicious on its own but also over yogurt. I am definitely buying this again!
Southern Recipe Small Batch Pasilla Chili Cheese Pork Rinds
Nutrition: Each serving has <1 gram of net carbs, 4.5 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein and <1 gram of sugar.
Review: I don’t eat pork rinds, so I haven’t tried these but the flavor does sound good!
Highkey Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 3 grams of protein, 13 grams of fat and 0 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia, monk fruit
Review: these are one of my favorite keto cookie brands and I’ve had these many times. They are crunch, taste great and don’t leave much of a cooling effect from the erythritol at all. I love them! They come in a variety of flavors. The only one I haven’t enjoyed is the chocolate mint cookies because they are made with peppermint, rather than spearmint.
Revol Snax Double Dark Chocolate Coconut Bites
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 4 grams of protein, 11 grams of fat, and <1 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: allulose, monk fruit
Review: these are gone already and if that doesn’t say a lot, then I don’t know what does! They definitely have a coconut flavor and texture and did melt a bit in the heat which left them a little greasy and misshapen when they arrived. This didn’t affect the flavor. I’ve also had the matcha flavor and really love both.
Umland’s Crunchy Cheese in Gouda
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 7 grams of protein, 8 grams of fat and 1 gram of sugar.
Review: My son and I both enjoyed these. I can’t say they are much different than other gouda cheese puffs like this, but they are crunchy and tasty.
Better Than Good Snacks Tangy BBQ Protein Puffs
Nutrition: There are 2 grams of net carb, 3.5 grams of fat, 16 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar in each serving.
Sweeteners: sugar, maltodexrin, dextrose
Review: I have gotten these in other flavors before, but not BBQ. It’s a bit strong for my tastes, but does taste very much like barbecue. I’m a little bothered by the fact this snack contains maltodextrin, which can spike glucose more than sugar, as well as sugar and dextrose. I am assuming it’s a small amount of each.
Landcrafted Foods Original Smoked Beef Stick
Nutrition: There are 1 gram of net carbs, 4 grams of fat, 9 grams of protein and <1 gram of sugar in each serving.
Sweeteners: cane sugar
Review: this was just okay, in my opinion. It was a little spicy, although nothing in the ingredient list was all that spicy except for black pepper. I could also pick up the celery and it’s not a flavor I tend to enjoy much. I took 2 bites and threw it out.
The Cookie Department Cake Walk Cookie
Nutrition: Each serving has 4 grams of net carbs, 22 grams of fat, and 5 grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, monk fruit
Review: I’ve had a couple of different flavors of cookies from The Cookie Department and Cake Walk is my favorite. It’s soft and sweet, with a slight cooking effect from the erythritol, but nothing too intense. I really like this and would buy again.
GoodSam Macadamia Nuts
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 grams of net carbs, 22 grams of fat, 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar.
Review: macadamia nuts are a great snack for keto. These taste amazing. The crunch is perfect with the slightly salty taste. These are better than most other macadamia nuts I’ve had! Maybe because they come from Kenya? I will definitely be seeking these out to buy more!
IQ Bar in Banana Nut
Nutrition: Each serving has 3 grams of net carbs, 14 grams of fat, 7 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar.
Review: I have not tried this yet and probably won’t. I have had other flavors of IQ bars and really like them but I am not a fan of banana flavored foods.
Is Keto Krate Worth It?
Yes, yes, yes! 1000 times yes! It’s such a great way to try new snacks without having to a full box or even a bulk package!
First, in order to be able to try all of these products, you often (almost always) have to buy an entire box or multiple packs online since a lot of these foods are not yet available in stores or are only available in some health food stores.
Second, the total value of the items, should you be able to buy them all individually at the prices listed, has been about the same or more than the cost of the box and that’s not factoring in any shipping costs. But again, it’s highly unlikely you’d be able to buy just one of any of all of these items. This month, the items are valued at $42.59, so just slightly above the full price of the box (without any new subscriber discounts).
Third, it’s a really great way to find some new keto friendly items to help you in your journey. This is a really good box for me. There are a few repeats, but also plenty of new items that I got to try out.
