I haven’t been the best about watching my carbs, though most days I still do alright. Having my Keto Krate box come every month helps me stay on track, especially when the sweet cravings hit hard, as they occasionally do.
This month is especially exciting because every product is brand new to me except for one. Having been with Keto Krate for quite some time, there are often a few repeats (but still always good!), so this was a nice surprise.
Every month Keto Krate sells out, some boxes earlier than others. Before I get into this review, I just want to let you know that if you want this particular box, order quickly!
Keto Krate showing up every month will provide you with lots of new low carb foods to try. Most of the items are snack foods, which is great because with most snack items coming in multi-packs, this allows you the ability to try before you buy.

September 2021 Keto Krate Review
The individual prices listed are from the Keto Krate website. In most cases, items are only sold online in bulk packages. Some items may be available in stores. Prices may vary.
This Keto Krate review includes some basic information about each product including the approximate price, some nutrition facts, any sweeteners in the ingredients, and my own personal thoughts on the product after sampling it.
Good Dee’s Sugar Free Cookie Low Carb Baking Mix
Price: $11.99
Nutrition: Each serving (prepared) has 2 grams of net carbs, 11 grams of fat, 3 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia
Review: I’ve had a pancake baking mix from this brand and they didn’t turn out well for me. My husband liked them though and could have very well been user error or an ingredient issue. I’ll give these a try soon. I do like that you only need to add an egg, butter, and vanilla extract.
Good Sam Dark Chocolate Candy Coated Almonds
Price: $6.99
Nutrition: Each serving has 4 grams of net carbs, 8 grams of fat, 3 grams of protein and <1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: allulose, isomaltulose (this one is new to me and I don’t know anything about it yet)
Review: I received Good Sam macadamia nuts in a past Keto Krate and they were the best macadamia nuts I’ve ever had. Because of that, I had to try these almonds first. Honestly, I don’t love the chocolate candy shell. It’s a hard candy, like the outside of an M&M and it appears to have a later of a sifter chocolate under that before getting to the almond. There isn’t a strong chocolate flavor. I’ll eat these, but I won’t buy them again.
Shrewd Food Protein Puffs in Sour Cream & Onion
Price: $2.79
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 grams of net carbs, 14 grams of protein, 3.5 grams of fat and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: none
Review: Sour cream and onion is one of my least favorite flavors. I will likely give these to my husband to try.
Highkey Almond Flour Crackers in Cheddar
Price: $4.67
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 grams of net carbs, 6 grams of protein, 10 grams of fat, and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: none
Review: I recently had another brands almond flour cheese crackers and didn’t care for them, but Highkey can do no wrong. I need to pick up some dip to give these a try soon.
Moon Cheese Protein Blitz Mix
Price: $1.83
Nutrition: Each serving has 5 grams of net carbs, 12 grams of protein, 20 grams of fat and 2 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: none
Review: I’m so excited to see Moon Cheese jumping into the cheese and nut snack mix game. These are my favorite type of savory snack! I haven’t tried this pack yet, but I am sure it will be just as good as the others I’ve had.
CanDo Keto Krisp Almond Butter Protein Bar
Price: $2.99
Nutrition: There are 4 grams of net carb, 17 grams of fat, 10 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar in each serving.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia
Review: I have received this bar before and honestly can not remember if I tried it yet or not. I’ll have to check my stash! I’ll update this section once I try this one.
Jimmy! Macadamia Nut Protein Bar
Price: $2.50
Nutrition: There are 2 gram of net carbs, 14 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein and 0 gram of sugar in each serving.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia
Review: I have received this bar in a past Keto Krate. I don’t think I tried it yet, but other flavors that I’ve had from this brand have been okay. They aren’t my favorite, but they do in a pinch.
:ratio Vanilla Almond Crunchy Bar
Price: $2.49
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 grams of net carbs, 17 grams of fat, and 12 grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia
Review: I had this bar in a different flavor (lemon) in a past Keto Krate and it was really good. This vanilla almond flavor is much more my preference so I am sure I will love this one too!
Epic Pork Rinds in Sea Salt & Pepper

Sweeteners: sugar
Review: I will update this section after trying the product.
Is Keto Krate Worth It?
Yes! It’s such a great way to try new snacks without having to purchase a full box or even a bulk package!
First, in order to be able to try all of these products, you often (almost always) have to buy an entire box or multiple packs online since a lot of these foods are not yet available in stores or are only available in some health food stores.
Second, the total value of the items, should you be able to buy them all individually at the prices listed, has been about the same or more than the cost of the box and that’s not factoring in any shipping costs. But again, it’s highly unlikely you’d be able to buy just one of any of all of these items. This month, the items are valued at $42.74, so just slightly above the full price of the box (without any new subscriber discounts).
Third, it’s a really great way to find some new keto friendly items to help you in your journey. This is a really good box for me. There are a few repeats, but also plenty of new items that I got to try out.
