December 2020 Keto Krate Review
The individual prices listed are from the Keto Krate website. In most cases, items are only sold online in bulk packages. Some items may be available in stores. Prices may vary.
This Keto Krate review includes some basic information about each product including the approximate price, some nutrition facts, any sweeteners in the ingredients, and my own personal thoughts on the product after sampling it.
Pyure Sugar Free Brownie Mix
Nutrition: Each serving has 5 grams of net carbs, 6 grams of fat, 2 grams of protein and 0 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia
Review: I have not tried this yet, but will update this section once I do. I have tried a cookie mix from this brand and unfortunately, I didn’t care for it. However, I’m always open minded that a different product could still be great.
Heka Good Foods Chocolate Sea Salt Bar
Nutrition: Each bar has 3 grams of net carbs, 14 grams of fat, 10 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: allulose, erythritol
Review: I have tried 2 other bars from this brand and find them super greasy (to the point it separated from the rest of the bar). In the photos of this particular flavor, the bar does look to be on the drier side, but it was still greasy. It’s very thick and hard to chew. The chocolate flavor is pretty intense, but I just don’t care for this brand.
Munk Pack Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Keto Nut and Seed Bar
Nutrition: Each bar has 3 grams of net carbs, 5 grams protein, 12 grams fat, and <1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: allulose, monk fruit
Review: I LOVE this bar! It reminds me of Kind bars. I will definitely be ordering more of these!
Raw Rev Creamy Peanut Butter and Sea Salt Bar
Nutrition: Each bar has 3 grams of net carbs, 15 grams of protein, 11 grams of fat and 2 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: none added
Review: I received this same bar and flavor in my August 2020 Keto Krate and really enjoyed it. It’s another brand whose products I really enjoy.
Better Than Good Keto Chocolate Crunch Bar
Nutrition: Each serving has 4 grams of net carbs, 4 grams of protein, 18 grams of fat and 2 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, monk fruit, stevia
Review: This reminds me of a Nestle Crunch bar. It’s good, but not my favorite (Nestle Crunch bars were never a favorite of mine either)
Ross Chocolate Milk Chocolate Minis
Nutrition: There are 2 grams of net carbs, 9 grams of fat, 4 grams of protein and <1 gram of sugar in each serving.
Review: These are good! I’ve tried another flavor so I had a feeling I’d like these. They taste very much like regular milk chocolate.
Ice Chips Candy in Peppermint
Nutrition: There are 0 grams of net carbs, 0 grams of fat, 0 grams of protein and 0 grams of sugar in each serving.
Review: I don’t like peppermint, so I didn’t eat these, but my son loves them and we’ve since ordered 3 more tins.
Nush Raspberries and Cream Cake
Nutrition: Each serving has 3 grams of net carbs, 16 grams of fat, 7 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: monk fruit, erythritol
Review: Im happy to get to try a different flavor of this brand’s cakes. I got a pineapple one several months back and didn’t care for the flavor, but the texture was pretty good!
The Cookie Department Cake Walk Cookie
Nutrition: Each serving has 3 grams of net carbs, 19 grams of fat, 6 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: monk fruit, erythritol
Review: I tried this cookie and flavor after receiving it in my June 2020 Keto Krate. It’s one of the best keto cookies, I’ve had yet. There is some slight cooling effect, but it’s not too bad.
Nutty Gourmet Sea Salt Walnuts
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 gram of net carbs, 17 grams of fat, and 4 grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: none added
Review: I love walnuts. The only issue is that I eat too many. I’ll probably break these up and sprinkle them over oatmeal or something so that I don’t over-indulge.
Keto Farms Butter Toffee Peanuts
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 5 grams of fat, 5 grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, monk fruit
Review: I haven’t tried these yet, but will update this section once I do. I have tried other products from this brand and really love their nut and cheese mixes best.
Pork King Good Dill Pickle Pork Rinds
Nutrition: Each serving has 0 gram of net carbs, 5 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein, and 0 grams of sugar.
Review: I still don’t eat pork rinds.
Big John’s Original Beef Jerky
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 grams of net carbs, 1 gram of fat, 8 grams of protein, and 0 grams of sugar.
Review: I have not tried this yet, but will update this section once I do.
Is Keto Krate Worth It?
I absolutely believe that Keto Krate is worth it. Here is the breakdown as to why I believe this.
First, in order to be able to try all of these products, you often (almost always) have to buy an entire box or multiple packs online since a lot of these foods are not yet available in stores or are only available in some health food stores. You can see the online prices in the pricing section of each item listed above.
Second, the total value of the items, should you be able to buy them all individually at the prices listed, has been about the same or more than the cost of the box and that’s not factoring in any shipping costs. But again, it’s highly unlikely you’d be able to buy just one of any of all of these items. This month, the items are valued at $50.53.
Third, it’s a really great way to find some new keto friendly items to help you in your journey. This month the box is a great one for me. I don’t eat pork rinds or peppermint candy, but will likely enjoy all of the other items.
