Keto Krate is a monthly subscription box filled with keto friendly products. You will get a variety of snack products.
Keto Krate does not include products unless they are low carb (5 grams or less per serving) and also gluten and maltitol free.

April 2021 Keto Krate Review

This Keto Krate review includes some basic information about each product including the approximate price, some nutrition facts, any sweeteners in the ingredients, and my own personal thoughts on the product after sampling it.
Keto and Co Shortbread Keto Cookie Mix
Price: $10.99
Nutrition: Each serving of the dry mix has 1 gram of net carbs, 2 grams of fat, 3 grams of protein and <1 gram of sugar. Once baked, the total fat does increase.
Sweeteners: erythritol, monk fruit
Review: I have not tried this yet but will update this section once I do. It may be awhile before I can get to these due to our temporary living situation not having small appliances or a rolling pin.
Fat Snax Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Price: $3.75
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 16 grams of fat, 4 grams of protein and <1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia, monk fruit
Review: these are really good. They smell like chocolate chip cookies and taste like them too. However, they do have a very obvious cooling effect near the end and the coconut flavor becomes more obvious, as well.
Perfect Keto Snickerdoodle Keto Cookies
Price: $2.49
Nutrition: Each serving has 3 gram of net carbs, 5 grams of protein, 15 grams of fat and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, stevia, allulose

Legendary Foods Tasty Pastry in Blueberry
Price: $2.49
Nutrition: Each serving has 4 grams of net carbs, 15 grams of protein, 7 grams of fat, and <1 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, allulose, sucrolose
Review: I received the strawberry flavor of these pastries in my November 2020 Keto Krate. I was really excited to try them, but just didn’t care for them, especially the pastry part. I’m not sure I’ll be eating this one.
Genius Gourmet Barbecue Keto Snack Chips
Price: $2.99
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 grams of net carbs, 8 grams of protein, 14 grams of fat and 0 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: none
Review: I have not tried this yet but will update this section once I do.
Proudly Pure Parmesan Crisps with Bacon
Price: $6.23
Nutrition: There are 1 grams of net carb, 7 grams of fat, 9 grams of protein and grams of sugar in each serving.
Sweeteners: none
Review: these also came in my July 2020 Keto Krate box but in the plain Parmesan flavor. I did like that they are larger, but find chips like these to be salty. The bacon adds a nice distraction from that. I like this flavor a little better. I still find the price to be high, though.
Skuta Chili Maple Mango Pumpkin Seeds
Price: $4.99
Nutrition: There are 3 grams of net carbs, 18 grams of fat, 14 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar in each serving.
Sweeteners: maple sugar
Review: I love pumpkin seeds. The flavor and the texture are both just perfect in my opinion. Obviously, I was excited to try these, but have to admit that the overall chili, maple and mango flavor is incredibly mild. There is a hint of sweetness. Maybe the flavor will be more intense as I get to the bottom of the bag?
Keto Farms Cocoa Dusted Almonds
Price: $2.49
Nutrition: Each serving has 2 grams of net carbs, 12 grams of fat, and 4 grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: erythritol, monk fruit
Review: This is a new product from Keto Farms. Their cheese and nut mixes are some of my favorites, but I haven’t loved the sweeter products as much. That all changed with these almonds. Adding cocoa to any type of nuts is a win in my book. You can read my Keto Farms Review, if you’d like. I’ll be updating it with this item soon.
Think Jerky Grass Fed Beef Stick
Price: $2.25
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 5 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein and 0 gram of sugar.
Sweeteners: none
Review: I also received this beef stick in my October 2020 Keto Krate. I really liked it and do appreciate that this brand uses grass fed beef.
Real Snacks Garlic and Herb Beef Stick
Price: $2.25
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 5 grams of fat, 7 grams of protein and 3 grams of sugar. I believe the 3 grams of sugar is an error on the label. There are no sugars listed in the ingredients and carbohydrates are listed as just 1 gram.
Sweeteners: none
Review: I have not tried this yet, but I do like that this beef stick has a little more added flavor to it. However, when I read the ingredients on the label, garlic is not mentioned. All it states is spices, including fennel and paprika.
Field Trip Sweet Chipotle Pork Rinds
Price: $1.83
Nutrition: Each serving has 1 gram of net carbs, 6 grams of fat, 7 grams of protein, and 0 grams of sugar.
Sweeteners: cane sugar
Review: you know I don’t do pork rinds. The flavor sounds good though.
Is Keto Krate Worth It?
I absolutely believe that Keto Krate is worth it. Here is the breakdown as to why I believe this.
First, in order to be able to try all of these products, you often (almost always) have to buy an entire box or multiple packs online since a lot of these foods are not yet available in stores or are only available in some health food stores. You can see the online prices in the pricing section of each item listed above.
Second, the total value of the items, should you be able to buy them all individually at the prices listed, has been about the same or more than the cost of the box and that’s not factoring in any shipping costs. But again, it’s highly unlikely you’d be able to buy just one of any of all of these items. This month, the items are valued at $41.75, so just slightly above the full price of the box (without any new subscriber discounts).
Third, it’s a really great way to find some new keto friendly items to help you in your journey. This is a pretty good box for me. There are a few repeats, but also plenty of new items that I’ll get to try out.
