- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar: you can use maple syrup instead or a brown sugar substitute, like Swerve.
- 2 teaspoons dried sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Combine the ground turkey, brown sugar, sage, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently to combine.
Form the turkey sausage mixture into 8 round patties.
Heat the olive oil on medium heat in a large skillet. Add the sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes per side. You may have to work in batches.
Remove to a paper towel to absorb excess oil before serving.
Present!
Transfer to a serving plate and serve warm.
