FAQ’s
Why Is My Whipping Cream Not Getting Stiff?
Heavy whipping cream needs to be very cold to be able to be whipped into stiff peaks. Placing the mixing bowl in the freezer beforehand helps keep it cold during the whipping process.
What Is The Difference Between Regular Ice Cream and No-Churn Ice Cream?
Traditional ice cream is made with eggs and granulated sugar whereas no-churn ice cream does not contain eggs and is made with sweetened condensed milk. Both are made using heavy cream.
Traditional ice cream also needs to be churned and requires an ice cream maker, while no-churn ice cream can be combined in a mixer or bowl before being placed directly into the freezer to set.

So fun to make and really simple! The flavor and texture was perfect, so I plan for this to be my go to recipe throughout the summer, and to use different food colorings. Next up is a mermaid themed party with purple and teal coloring. Can’t wait!

This is the ultimate recipe! I am at my inlaws place for the summer, so I don’t have an ice cream maker here. This is the perfect recipe to make if you don’t have one! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂

I love no-churn ice cream and we make it all the time. When I saw your idea for a Red, White, and Blue patriotic version I knew I had to make it. We gave the neighbor a little preview of the ice cream before the party today and she went nuts over it. Now she’s going to do the same thing for every patriotic holiday. Fantastic idea.
