My inspiration for this Honey Garlic Green Beans recipe was actually more of a suggestion from my fiancé, Daryl. I asked him what he wanted as a side dish with dinner one night and his response was, “How about some green beans with honey and garlic?” Sounds like a good idea, right?

I had never made green beans this way before but with just a handful of ingredients, it wasn’t too hard to figure out.  This super easy recipe turned out so good that I feel like you could add a little honey and garlic to almost any vegetable.

Just like Green Beans with Almonds, this recipe is simple, yet yields a delicious and versatile side dish.

You can serve them along side of fish, beef, chicken or pork, or enjoy them as a healthy snack.

The flavor of Honey Garlic Green Beans would pair well with fragrant entrees such as Poached Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce, Spicy Mongolian Beef, Chicken Paprikash, or Pork with Parmesan Peppercorn Sauce.

Why This Recipe Works

Honey Garlic Green Beans are a family-friendly side dish that pairs well with most proteins.

This is an easy skillet recipe, that takes less than 15 minutes to prepare.

Honey are garlic are the perfect combination of sweet and savory flavors.
