My inspiration for this Honey Garlic Green Beans recipe was actually more of a suggestion from my fiancé, Daryl. I asked him what he wanted as a side dish with dinner one night and his response was, “How about some green beans with honey and garlic?” Sounds like a good idea, right?
I had never made green beans this way before but with just a handful of ingredients, it wasn’t too hard to figure out. This super easy recipe turned out so good that I feel like you could add a little honey and garlic to almost any vegetable.

You can serve them along side of fish, beef, chicken or pork, or enjoy them as a healthy snack.

How to Make Honey Garlic Green Beans
Ingredients
- Green Beans: fresh green beans work best for this recipe. Be sure to trim any stems off.
- Honey
- Garlic: again, fresh garlic will give your dish the best flavor.
- Not Pictured: olive oil, salt and pepper.

Prep!
Wash the green beans and trim the ends. Mince the garlic.
Create!
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the olive oil and green beans and toss to coat. Season with the salt and pepper.
Continue to cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes or until the green beans start to brown just a little.
Mix in the garlic and continue sautéing for another minute or until the garlic is fragrant.
Drizzle on the honey and toss to coat.
Present!
You can serve the green beans straight from the pan or transfer them to a serving dish. Be sure to scrap out all of the extra bits of garlic.

Ingredients

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
