Of all the dessert recipes I have made, both of my kids will claim that my apple pie is their absolute favorite. I usually shake a little of this and a little of that into the sliced apples, testing a slice here and there to get the spices just right.

However, making your own homemade Apple Pie Spice makes preparing all of your favorite apple recipes, even easier. Rather than pulling out multiple jars of spices, you just need one.

Not only can you use this recipe for apple pie, but you can use an equal amount in any apple recipe that calls for a combination of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Try it in our recipe for Apple Pie Overnight Oats or Apple Crostata with Crisp Topping.

Why This Recipe Works

This is a super quick and easy recipe to make that only requires 3 ingredients that you can easily adapt to suite your own tastes, if needed.

It saves money. You don’t have to run out and buy yet another spice jar.

It’s very flavorful and has an endless amount of uses.

Apple pie spice is a kitchen essential! This recipe is the perfect touch of cozy autumn flavor. I add it to apple pies but also oatmeal and muffins. It’s my new secret ingredient!

SUCH A SIMPLE RECIPE AND SO MUCH MORE FLAVORFUL THAN THE STORE BOUGHT STUFF. APPLE PIE SPICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE IN THE FALL, MUCH MORE THAN PUMPKIN SPICE.

Space is a premium in our spice rack so I love being able to make my own mixes from spices I already have. And this apple pie blend was spot on! So delicious and easy to make.

Making your own seasoning blends is so easy and so much better than store-bought. Your seasoning made the best-sauteed apple side dish with my pork chops.

We loved the mix of spices in your apple pie spice, a firm hit with the family in our apple pie. It’s not available in the UK so I’m glad I found your website.

Easy peasy. Whipped up a batch to put in coffee this time of year, and of course pie, and it cost about half what my store made mix usually runs! Thanks 😉

This apple pie spice is so handy to have on hand for all the apple desserts I’ve been making lately! We have an apple tree so I will always have mix up a batch for fall from now on. Thank you!

I love fall baking so this apple pie spice was on my list of spice blends to make things easier. I love how it only requires 3 ingredients, but adds so much flavor.
