Blackberry Mojito

This easy-to-make Blackberry Mojito is the most perfect, refreshing cocktail to enjoy on a hot summer day. It’s made with a just a handful of ingredients and can easily be modified to serve a crowd during gatherings and celebrations, as well.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 sprigs fresh mint
  • 4 ounces rum
  • 3 ounces Blackberry Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2-4 ounces club soda

Instructions

  • Place the mint leaves into the bottom of a glass. Lightly bruise the leaves with a muddler.
    2-3 sprigs fresh mint
  • Add the rum, blackberry syrup and lime juice to the glass (or you can mix it separately in a shaker). Stir well.
    4 ounces rum, 3 ounces Blackberry Syrup, 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Pour in the club soda. You may want more or less depending on your own personal tastes. 
    2-4 ounces club soda

Tips and Techniques

  • You can use fresh blackberries and simple syrup in place of the blackberry syrup, if preferred.
  • Use more or less club soda to adjust the flavor to better suite your own personal tastes.
  • Mojitos are best when served immediately.
