Pulled Pork Sliders on King's Hawaiian Rolls

This recipe for Pulled Pork Sliders is the perfect recipe for a quick, fun appetizer or meal, especially during barbecue season. These snack-sized sandwiches are full of cheesy, melted cheddar and sweet and smoky pulled pork flavor. A quick brush of garlic butter gives the rolls a golden brown color and even more delicious flavor.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cut the tops off of the King’s Hawaiian Rolls. You can usually do this while they are all still connected. Place in a large casserole dish.

  • Spread the pulled pork out onto the tops of the rolls.
    1 pound pulled pork
  • Top the pulled pork with slices of cheddar cheese.
    4 ounces cheddar cheese
  • Replace the tops of the rolls.
  • Melt butter and stir in garlic powder and parsley. Drizzle or brush onto the tops of the rolls.
    1 tablespoon butter, 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake 10 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes or until the sliders are hot and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Tips and Techniques

  • You can use homemade or store-bought pulled pork. Pulled chicken or beef can be used in place of pork, if preferred.
  • Store leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator. Consume within 3-4 days.
