Chocolate Covered Strawberry Rice Krispies Treats

Butter the inside of an 8 x 8-inch or larger baking dish.
In a large microwave safe bowl, add the butter and the entire bag of marshmallows. Microwave for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave an additional minute and stir until smooth.
Meanwhile, combine the Rice Krispies, dehydrated strawberries, and crushed cookies in a medium bowl. Mix well.
Using a plastic or silicone spoon or spatula, stir the Rice Krispies mixture into the marshmallow mixture.
Using dampened hands, press the mixture into a buttered baking dish.
Drizzle the melted chocolate on top.
Once the chocolate is set, cut into bars.
Tips and Techniques
- Use a smaller pan, like an 8×8-inch pan, for thicker treats, as shown in the photos. For thinner treats, use a larger pan.
- Dampen your hands with water before you push the mixture into a baking dish. This will prevent the marshmallow from sticking to your hands.
- Store leftovers in an air-tight container, or individually wrapped in plastic wrap, at room temperature. Use within 2 days for the best results.
