Crispy Cereal Treats with Cranberries

Crispy Cereal Treats are made with rice cereal, marshmallows and healthy cranberry seeds.

  • Spray an 8-inch square pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  • In a non-stick pan, over medium low heat, melt the butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and continue to stir with a heat-resistant rubber spatula until melted.
  • Once melted, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cereal and cranberry seeds until evenly combined.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared pan evenly. Let cool.
  • Once cooled, remove the pressed mixture from the pan. Slice into 6 squares and serve.


Tips and Techniques

  • For thicker cereal treats, double the recipe. 
  • Lightly dampen your hands before pressing the cereal treats into the pan to keep the marshmallow from sticking to them.
  • Store cereal treats individually wrapped in plastic wrap at room temperature. Use within 2-3 days for the best results.
