Buffalo Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup shallot (minced, can use onion)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup blanched almond flour (can use regular flour or bread crumbs)
  • 2 tablespoons Buffalo sauce
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Combine the ground chicken, shallot, garlic, almond flour, Buffalo sauce, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until just blended.
  • Form the mixture into 4 evenly sized, 1-inch thick patties.
  • Heat a large, flat skillet over medium-high. Spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add burgers to the hot skillet. Cook 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the burgers are cooked through and no longer pink in the center. The internal temperature should reach 165°F when checked with a meat thermometer inserted into the center.
  • Serve as desired.
