Bake the cookies, if needed and let them cool completely.
Once the cookies are completely cool, melt the candy melts individually in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds on 50% power. Stir. If more time is needed place the bowl back in the microwave for 15 second increments, stirring in between.
Dip each cookie 1/3 of the way into the melted candy, letting any excess drip off.
Place the cookies back onto the cooling rack or onto a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle on the decorations of your choice.
Place the cookies in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the candy is set before serving. You can also leave them at room temperature for 2 hours to set.
