Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies

Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies are a fun, delicious holiday treat. It’s a super easy, edible craft that the kids will love to help make and decorate.

  • Bake the cookies, if needed and let them cool completely. 
  • Once the cookies are completely cool, melt the candy melts individually in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds on 50% power. Stir. If more time is needed place the bowl back in the microwave for 15 second increments, stirring in between.
  • Dip each cookie 1/3 of the way into the melted candy, letting any excess drip off.
  • Place the cookies back onto the cooling rack or onto a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle on the decorations of your choice. 
  • Place the cookies in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the candy is set before serving. You can also leave them at room temperature for 2 hours to set.

  • Use any chocolate chip cookies recipe that you like. You can even use store bought chocolate chip cookies if you prefer.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. Use within 5-7 days.
