Make The Dough

Prepare the cookie dough. Refrigerate for 1 hour. This step helps to keep the cookies from spreading too much when baking.


Roll and Cut Cookies

Turn the dough out onto a clean, floured surface and roll out to 1⁄4-inch in thickness. Use a 3-inch round cookie cutter to cut as many cookies as you can.


Bake The Cookies

Bake the cookies for about 9 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.


Make The Frosting

While the cookies are cooling, prepare the frosting. Use food coloring to reach the desired color.


Frost The Cookies

Frost the cookies and immediately top each cookie with a pinch of sprinkles.
