This Triple Berry Vanilla Smoothie with Protein and Greens is the perfect way to start a bright summer morning!

I don’t know what it is about this time of year, but for me, the start of summer always brings on the desire to eat more fresh, healthy foods…especially berries! I am seriously counting the days until the Strawberry Festival at one of the local farms near us! I recently discovered ALOHA brands protein powders and daily greens and was a little overly excited to try them to say the least! I love a good smoothie and being able to add some extra health benefits sounded like a win-win to me. I decided to add fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries to add some extra sweetness to this Triple Berry Vanilla Smoothie I created. I have to admit, it’s pretty darn delicious!
This smoothie couldn’t be easier to make! ALOHA makes it even simpler by giving you the option of buying their protein powder and greens in individual serving packets as well. I have been scared to death of trying a greens powder for so long, and had heard some awful things about the taste of wheat grass. I thought I might want to sweeten it up for my own personal tastes a little and bought a bunch of berries to do just that.
You can mix the protein powder into the beverage of your choice, so I chose to use Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk to give my smoothie even more vanilla flavor (and we always have it on hand!). I added about a Cup of the milk to my Ninja Blender cup, along with the ALOHA Vanilla Protein Powder and Mixed Berry Daily Greens and blended until it was super smooth. I gave it a try and have to admit, while it wasn’t as sweet as I prefer, it actually still tasted pretty good as it was! BUT! I wanted a Triple Berry Vanilla Smoothie, so I then threw in about a Cup of the berries as well. More blending and perfection! It turned out smooth and creamy with just the right amount of fresh berry sweetness! I could drink this every morning, especially if I could sit out back on a sunny summer morning to enjoy it every time as well!
I’ll definitely be grabbing some extra packets of ALOHA Protein Powders (they have chocolate too!!) and Daily Greens (again, there is a chocolate variety) so I can enjoy this Tripe Berry Vanilla Smoothie with Protein and Greens all summer. And you better believe I’m going to turn those chocolate varieties into something just as tasty!
Triple Berry Vanilla Smoothie with Protein and Greens
- 1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1 packet ALOHA Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 packet ALOHA Mixed Berry Daily Greens
- 1 Cup mixed berries *I used strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until well combined and smooth. If smoothie is too thick for your preferences, gradually add more almond milk until the desired consistency is achieved. Pour into a tall glass and top with additional berries if desired!
