Once again, pumpkin spice season is upon us! Last year we shared a Gingerbread White Russian Cocktail recipe that is so delicious, we just had to make a pumpkin spice version too.

This Pumpkin Spice White Russian is made with a classic White Russian base, but instead of using plain cream, it has pumpkin spice creamer to give it a more seasonal vibe.

If you enjoy a sweet, creamy cocktail with a hint of warm spices, you will absolutely love this drink!

Why This Recipe Works

White Russian cocktails are very quick and easy to prepare. You only need a few minutes to mix one up!

This drink has the most delicious, seasonal flavor. The combination of a creamy cocktail with warm pumpkin pie spice flavor is perfect together.

It’s absolutely perfect for fall holidays and special occasions, but simple enough to enjoy anytime you’d like.

Tips and Techniques

  • Chill your Glassware: Place the glass you’ll be serving the drink in in the freezer beforehand. A chilled glass enhances the overall experience of the cocktail.
  • Shake Vigorously: Shake the ingredients for a full 15 seconds. This not only chills the drink but also helps to blend the flavors, creating a well-balanced cocktail.
  • Strain with Precision: When straining the cocktail into the glass, consider using a fine mesh strainer to catch any ice chips or small remnants. This results in a smoother, more refined drink.
  • Whipped Cream Garnish: Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top just before serving. This not only adds a delightful creaminess but also complements the pumpkin spice flavor.
  • Cinnamon Enhancements: Use a cinnamon stick as a stirring or garnishing element. Additionally, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon on top adds a fragrant aroma and an extra layer of warmth to the drink.
  • Adjusting Sweetness: Depending on personal preference, you can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less pumpkin spice creamer. Taste the mixture before straining to ensure it meets your desired sweetness level.
  • Serve Immediately: This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh. Serve it immediately after preparing to capture the full flavors and aromas of the pumpkin spice and coffee liqueur.
  • Accompanying Snacks: Consider pairing the Pumpkin Spice White Russian with seasonal snacks like pumpkin pie, gingerbread cookies, or spiced nuts for a complete autumnal experience.
