There are multiple ways to make an Orange Creamsicle Cocktail, but the one I’m sharing with you here is my favorite.

Rather than ice cream, we use whipped flavored vodka and a whipped cream garnish to give the drink creaminess. We love ice cream, but this version saves you some calories and it’s not quite as messy to drink.

Instead of orange juice, we found the flavor of orange “drink” to be more spot-on to the classic flavor of an orange creamsicle popsicle.

It’s a taste of summer nostalgia all wrapped up in one yummy adult beverage.

We do have to warn you though, this is a strong drink. Please drink responsibly.

Why This Recipe Works

This is a quick and easy recipe to make. You need just 4 ingredients, some ice, and a few minutes to prepare it.

It tastes just like an orange creamsicle, but with a twist!

It’s the perfect dessert cocktail to wind down with on a warm summer evening, though this one tastes equally as good poolside in the sunshine too!

Step-By-Step Instructions

Ingredients

Bottles of vodka, gin and whipped cream, an orange and orange drink it a measuring glass on a marble background.

  • 1 cup ice
  • 3 ounces orange drink (we used Tang)
  • 2 ounces gin (we use Hendricks gin): you can use all vodka, if you prefer.
  • 2 ounces whipped cream flavored vodka (we use Pinnacle Whipped Vodka)
  • whipped cream
  • orange slices (optional garnish)
