Making a pie can be a bit time consuming and it’s not always the best option when in a pinch for a quick dessert.
Mini Apple Pie Bites are the perfect solution! You get all the same flavor of Apple Pie, but in a much quicker way.

How to Make Apple Pie Bites
Prep!
If you are using a pre-made pie crust, you will need to set that out to come to room temperature for about 20 minutes before you begin.
Once you’re ready to being assembling the pie bites, preheat your oven to 425°F.
Tip: line your baking sheet with a Silpat mat or parchment paper to prevent any juices that leak out from causing the pies to stick.
Create!
Cut one pie crust into 8 triangles.
Tip: you can also use crescent rolls instead of pie crust. See the notes section of the recipe card below for a slight modification in the baking temperature.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Set aside 2 tablespoons full.
Divide the rest of the sugar mixture onto each of the slices of pie crust.
Top with the chopped pecans, if using.
Peel and cut the apple into 8 slices and toss with 1 tablespoon of the melted butter.
Place one apple slice at the narrow point of each of the pieces of pie crust.
Roll the pie crust from the point side up to the wide end, tuck in the edges and press to seal it closed.
Tip: if your pie crust isn’t sealing well, or is tearing, you can wet it slightly with water.
Brush the tops of each roll with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle on the reserved sugar mixture.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Watch closely as the juices may burn if they leak out excessively.
Present!
Let cool for at least 5 minutes before serving. The apples inside tend to be much hotter than the outer crust.
You can serve these pie bites as is, or with a scoop of nice, cold vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust * or 8 ounce can of crescent rolls
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 cup pecans * chopped, optional
- 1 Granny Smith apple * or variety of your choice
- 2 tablespoons butter * melted, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with a Silpat mat or parchment paper.
- Cut the pie crust into 8 even triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Set aside 2 tablespoons.
- Sprinkled the remaining sugar mixture evenly onto each of the pie crust triangles.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the brown sugar mixture, if using.
- Peel and slice the apple into eight even slices and mix with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
- Place an apple on the smallest end of each pie crust triangle, and roll it all the way up to the opposite end.
- Brush the top of each roll with the remaining butter and sprinkle with the reserved brown sugar mixture.
- Bake in the pre-heated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
