Love with Food is a monthly subscription box service. They have several different plans, including a Gluten Free option. I’ve done both at different times and really do love the products they send. The May 2016 Love with Food Gluten Free Box had a very obvious theme…one we loved!
The May 2016 Love with Food Gluten Free Box Review!
If you haven’t heard of the gluten free brand Enjoy Life, you will now! The entire May 2016 Love with Food Gluten Box is full of items from this brand, and a few coupons as well. I’ve purchased a few products from Enjoy Life before, and especially love their Double Chocolate Soft Cookies. I love them so much, I have to refrain from buying them or I eat the whole box! It was fun to get more goodies from this brand to try, as some of them I have never seen or heard of before! Many Enjoy Life products are also milk or dairy free, nut free, and soy free as well!
Here’s what we got this month!
Plentils Crunchy Lentil Chips – I have heard of these and they might even be available at our local store, but we have never bought or tried them before. The best things about food subscription boxes is the ability to try before you buy!
Plentils Bag Clip – always good to have!
Cocoa Loco Baked Chewy Bar – I’ve actually bought these before and really like them. I pretty much like anything chocolate!
Caramel Apple Baked Chewy Bar – this is not a flavor I wold normally buy, but usually once I taste it, I like it. I haven’t opened this one yet, but I’m sure it’s delicious!
S’mores Soft Baked Bar – I had no idea these existed! I’m sure I’m going to love it! My poor gluten free boyfriend may not be getting much all to himself out of this box!
Beach Bash Seed and Fruit Pack – I used to buy these once in a while when Whole Foods was close by. They don’t carry these where we have to shop now. This flavor includes sunflower kernels, pineapple, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and apricots…all things I love except maybe for the pineapple.
Mountain Mambo Seed and Fruit Pack – this one includes sunflower kernels, pumpkin seeds, raisins, apples, chocolate chips, and cranberries. Again, all good stuff! These are great snacks to take on the go!
Chocolate Chip Crunchy Cookie – this is a single cookie pack. I liked the crunchy cookies we received in the April Box, but not as much as I love the soft versions.
Sugar Crisp Crunchy Cookie – another single crunchy cookie pack! I’m thinking we will probably take these for snacks on long drives, or trips etc. Each pack also has a $0.75 coupon on the back of it to use towards the purchase of a full sized box. Our store does not carry the crunchy cookies yet though
Soft Baked Snickerdoodle Cookie – I’m a huge fan of the soft double chocolate versions of these cookies, so I’m sure these Snickerdoodle cookies are just as delicious! This is a full sized box too!
Muffin Mix – another full sized item – yay! These look pretty good, but I’m going to add some blueberries or something to them when I make them. This looks like a new product from Enjoy Life, and I have not seen it available at our store yet.
The box also included a free e-cookbook download, $1.00 coupon towards any Enjoy Life food over $3.00, and a $1.50/2 Enjoy Life products.
I decided not to do a value breakdown, as food boxes notoriously either equal the value of the products you get, or are slightly less. I pay $25 to receive this box monthly, but with 3, 6, or yearly subscriptions, the monthly cost goes down. I won’t be continuing this subscription, but not because I don’t enjoy it. There are just so many other subscriptions I want to try out. I am a huge Love with Food fan and would highly recommend this company! It’s a great way to try before you buy and discover new products! If you review the products you get, you earn points to buy things from their online shop as well! They also donate a meal to a child in need for every box sold – just a wonderful, fun company!
