Keto Zucchini Recipes – 12 Amazing Side Dishes

Zucchini is a delicious vegetable choice when following a low carb or keto diet. These 12 recipes make zucchini the star, are easy to make, and super delicious! Every recipe has less than 10 grams of carbs per serving and complete nutritional information.

Zucchini, also known as courgette, is a perfect vegetable for those following low carb and keto diets. It’s very flavorful roasted or grilled with a little salt and pepper, but with the abundance of zucchini that comes our way every summer, that can get a little tiresome.

Thankfully, zucchini is super versatile and works well with so many different flavors as you will see in the delicious recipes below.

This collection of recipes ranges from comfort food, like gratins and baked roll ups, to lighter summer salads and even a zucchini-based dip. Most are gluten free, and quite a few are vegetarian. With such a variety, there is sure to be something for everyone.

How Many Carbs Are In Zucchini?

According to the USDA nutritional data base, there are approximately 6 grams of total carbohydrates in one medium zucchini. After subtracting the 2 grams of fiber, this leaves just 4 net carbs per medium zucchini.

This makes it especially perfect for those following a keto diet because you can eat more without racking up your daily carbs too quickly.

Zucchini is extremely low in calories, with just 33 calories per medium vegetable. There are also 2.5 grams of protein and just 0.5 grams of fat.

Keto Zucchini Side Dishes

The 12 zucchini side dishes below all have less than 10 net carbs per serving. Some of the recipes do include ingredients that stricter keto dieters might not want to consume, but since not everyone follows keto the same way, I included them.
