In this June 2019 Stitch Fix review, I received summer pieces in corals and blues including a dress, a top, a jumpsuit, shorts, and shoes!

I have really been wanting to do an all dress or an all shorts type of fix, but I love variety and with it being the start of summer I requested certain colors for my June 2019 Stitch Fix box instead.
I am obsessed with the combination of coral and navy. I specifically asked for items in those colors or in washed out navy and white. In addition to those requests, I have also practically been begging for wide leg pants. I have been seeing them popping up in other people’s fixes all the time, but sadly they just never seem to be available when I ask for them.
I’m really lucky to have a stylist who really tries to meet all of my needs. Every single time she styles me, she hits on almost every request. If she doesn’t, I know it’s simply because something just isn’t available.
Before I get into the full review of the items I received, let me tell you a bit about Stitch Fix and how it works. If you are already familiar with Stitch Fix, skip on through until you get to the May 2019 Stitch Fix Review heading.
What is Stitch Fix
If you already know what Stitch Fix is all about, go ahead and skip over this part. If you’re new to Stitch Fix, here is a brief summary of what you can expect.
Stitch Fix is a clothing subscription box. You can sign up to receive boxes on certain intervals, or just order a box whenever you want (this is the option I always choose so I don’t have to remember to cancel etc.). There are now women’s, men’s, and children’s Stitch Fix subscriptions available!
Each box you order will come with 5 items. These items are clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry. Stitch Fix now offers add-ons as well. These are items like camisoles, underwear, and bras that you can order in addition to your 5 items.
When you first sign up, you’ll fill out a style survey. Be brutally honest with this section! You’ll also have the opportunity to add any notes when you schedule your fix. I usually use this area to request certain items that I may have seen in other reviews or on Pinterest, or to request certain types of items. You definitely don’t want to skip this part. I find that being really detailed in the notes section helps to ensure that you get items that you will love!
After everything is filled out, choose the date you’d like to receive your fix.
How Much Does Stitch Fix Cost?
You pay a $20 styling fee that is credited towards anything you purchase. Shipping is free both ways. Buy what you love, return what you don’t. If you buy all 5 items, you’ll also get a 25% discount! And yes, if you don’t buy anything, the $20 fee is not refunded (as it goes towards the time to curate the items and their shipping costs). There has only ever been one time that I didn’t buy a single item.
The cost of the items varies. You can set your price ranges in your survey. Stitch Fix even carries designer brands now!
Now that that is out of the way, check out everything I got this month below!
June 2019 Stitch Fix Review
Cosmic Blue Love Jodie Short ($58.00)
I was a little upset to see white shorts in my fix. I bought two pairs of white shorts from Stitch Fix last summer (one of which I later resold – how many pairs of white shorts does one need?).
With that said, they fit perfectly and didn’t appear to be see through. I just didn’t need them.
Verdict: returned
Loveappella Ciara Knit Jumpsuit ($78.00)
I tried this jumpsuit on a few times. The first time I took it right off. No way. The second time I kind of liked it. I guess it just took a few tries to get used to the way I looked in it.
From the start, I didn’t feel this was a very summery looking piece and didn’t think I’d wear it much at all. I think my stylist may have thought it was navy, but it’s black. I sent it back with the feedback that I love the jumpsuit and romper trend, but would love a more colorful one.
Verdict: returned
Loveapella Earnest Swing Knit Top ($44.00)
In the picture, I loved this top. But, this one also took a few tries for me. The first time it was a definite no. It’s white on the backside and when on, I noticed some of the white showing through on the chest area. However, the second time I tried it on, I didn’t notice that at all. I think it was more what I have on underneath.
I love the colors (obviously) and the way it hangs. I decided to keep it – it goes great with white shorts – haha!
Verdict: kept
Lemon Tart Rhys Knit Dress ($64.00)
This is such a pretty dress on paper and in person. It’s the colors that I asked for and perfect for summer. But, for me, it’s just too skimpy at the top.
It has a built in shelf bra but that doesn’t offer enough support. Wearing any other type of bra, even a strapless, shows with this dress.
Verdict: returned
Keds Kickstart Canvas Lace Up Sneaker ($55.00)
So, so cute! I love these shoes. Again, I wasn’t sure I was going to keep them at first, but after the second try on, I loved them. They are so comfortable and I wear them all the time. And, with everything, even if there’s no coral!
I thought $55.00 was a bit high for Keds, but I had a little bit of a credit on my account and decided to just go for it. If I didn’t have the credit, I might have passed based solely on the price.
Verdict: kept
Final Thoughts on My June 2019 Stitch Fix Items
I absolutely loved this fix on paper and can see exactly why every item was chosen for me (except the white shorts). Unfortunately, not every item fit or looked quite like I was hoping, but I still got some great items.
The total for all of the items in this fix is $299.00. The 25% discount for buying all 5 items is $74.75 which would have brought the total to $224.25 had I bought the entire fix. Instead, I paid $99.00 for the shirt and shoes.
I have yet to schedule my July fix, but think I am going to ask for colorful/printed shorts and tops to go with them. It’s also very likely that I’ll keep begging for those wide leg pants!
