Plan your next home decor projects with items from Jane.com!
Sometimes things just do not work out how you want them to. Our plan was to move this summer. It’s not happening. I was really excited to start working on furnishing and decorating a new home, but I’m just going to have to wait. In the meantime, I decided to work on a few smaller home decor projects that can easily be moved when the time finally does come!
I picked up a few items from Jane.com to get my creative juices flowing. Jane.com is actually a pretty cool website where you can find unique items at lower costs. They are an online boutique and carry women’s fashion trends, children’s clothing, and home decor items. The items are only available for a limited time, and new items are added daily so there is always something new to discover!
I have been cutting out photos of kitchens from magazines for months, maybe years! When the time comes to design my own, I have plenty of ideas, but have also found a few smaller projects to work on. There are two things I really want to do that I can actually start on now, before I have my dream kitchen. The first is to design and organize a spice drawer, and the second is to organize all my baking supplies into matching canisters with pretty labels.
I found these really cute canister labels in the home decor section on Jane.com and had to have them. There were a ton of color options and I chose this mint green color. This color always reminds me of kitchens from the 50’s and I definitely want to incorporate it into my future kitchen as well! I have yet to purchase my canisters but it is definitely at the top of my to-do list now! I’m also planning out the spice drawer as well and will post a fun DIY later about that!
These labels were only $6.99. The set includes 15 labels. There is a label for everything I need with maybe 1 or 2 that I won’t use. They also came with easy-to-follow instructions on how to apply them.
Unfinished Words “love” Cutout
The other item that I purchased is an Unfinished Words wood cutout of the word “love.” It was $29.99 and they offered 4 different word options at the time of my purchase. It’s fairly thick and sturdy and arrived in excellent condition!
There is literally nothing but a mirror hanging on the walls in our bedroom and I don’t want that to be the case with our new home. This cutout is pretty big and should fill the space over our bed nicely! Since this word cutout comes unfinished, the options are endless! Right now I am thinking to do a white, weathered finished on it.
While these exact items are probably not available, you can see what’s new in home decor at Jane.com by visiting their website. They even have sneak peeks at the next days sales after 4pm so you can start planning your next home decor projects too!
