Ham and Cheese Croissants are like an elevated version of a classic ham and cheese sandwich.

We’ve swapped out bread for flaky croissants and added a simple spread made with both mayonnaise and zesty Dijon mustard.

These croissant sandwiches are perfect for a quick lunch or dinner and can easily be paired with a variety of different types of soups or salads.

Why This Recipe Works

This is a super quick and easy lunch or dinner recipe. You only need 5 ingredients and about 10 minutes to prepare it.

You can easily scale the recipe up or down to suite your needs or feed a crowd. These croissant sandwiches can also be frozen to reheat as needed.

This is a very versatile recipe. You can swap out in a different deli meat or use any cheese or bread that you like.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Ingredients

Ingredients needed to make baked ham and cheese croissants on a marble background with text overlay.

  • 4 croissants: you can use store-bought or make your own.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces ham (sliced thin): we use honey ham slices, but you can use any type of ham that you like. Smoked or black forest ham would also work really well and you can use deli ham or leftover ham.
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese: you can use another type of cheese if you’d prefer. Cheddar cheese would work great on these sandwiches.
