I think it’s official that I am not quitting BeautyFIX anytime soon! The items and the value are just too good! If you’ve been interested in seeing what comes in a BeautyFIX subscription box, or just looking for spoilers, here is my full February 2016 BeautyFIX review! I am happy with almost all of the products month after month! I don’t always use every single thing, but I can usually sell what I don’t want on Ebay, or pass them along to my mom or a friend!
February’s box includes:
pur-lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum ($65.00 Full Size): This is a really high-dollar product to get full sized so I’m really excited for this one…the reviews are awesome! It’s supposed to help reduce dark circles around eyes. With an 8 month old baby who still wakes up in the middle of the night, I need all the help I can get!
D.S. Laboratories Revita-COR Hair Stimulating Conditioner ($16.00 Deluxe Sample Size): Last month we got the shampoo. I kind of wish they came together, but I still have more than half a bottle of the shampoo left. I have to say, the shampoo is awesome. I have no idea if it’s the reason for so much regrowth because I’m also taking supplements, but my hair looks and feels better on the days I use it. I’m hoping the conditioner is just as good!
glo-minerals Suede Matte Stick ($16.00 Full Size): Subscribers either got the shade Port or Punch. We got the same item in the shade Pin-up in December, but I sold it on Ebay because it wasn’t a shade I would wear. This time I got Port. I was hoping for Punch, but I like Port now that I have it in hand! It’s a darker wine shade.
Danielle Creations Gold-Plated Eyelash Curler ($9.99 Full Size): I’m more than happy to replace my ancient old Cover Girl curler with this one. We also got a Danielle Creations Mini Mirror last month, so another repeat brand, but thankfully an entirely different product. I do like getting tools and brushes in subscription boxes because they aren’t things I tend to buy for myself anymore.
Skinceuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex Serum ($?? Monodose Sample): Another expensive eye serum…I’ll take them all! These are my favorite types of products to sample, after facial masks. This brand notoriously never puts amounts of product on the samples. It just says “Monodose Sample” so you can imagine the tube is not every full. Of course, I wish it was bigger but the 0.5oz full sized item is $92! I got about a weeks worth out of the tube. Unfortunately, I can’t say it did much of anything for me.
Nick Chavez Advanced Volume Hair Spray ($9.00 Deluxe Sample): I’ve gotten other items from the brand a while back and haven’t been too impressed. I very rarely use hair spray so I don’t think I’ll use this. I might try to sell this, or I may just pass it along.
LashFOOD Phyto-medic Eyelash Enhancer ($13.50 Sample Size): And another eye product! I guess we’re going to need longer eyelashes to go along with the curler! Again, this product has awesome reviews. The full size is only 0.1oz and $80, so it’s definitely not something I would be willing to invest in without knowing if it would work for me. I don’t have issues with my eyelash length/thickness but a little more never hurts so I’ll give it a try. I had a sample of another brand over a year ago and never really saw results – hopefully that’s not the case again!
The value of this box is $130 (not including the Skinceuticals sample)!! You will also get a 20% off code to use towards a purchase in February. You can check out BeautyFIX for yourself here! It’s only $24.95/month with a recurring subscription and you will get over $100 worth of products!
