FAQ’s

Why Did My Rice Krispies Treats Get Hard?

If the marshmallows are overcooked, they will harden as they cool making the Rice Krispies Treats tough.

Can You Freeze Rice Krispies Treats?

Because Rice Krispies Treats don’t last long when stored at room temperature, you may want to freeze any extras. Simple wrap them individually in plastic wrap and place in the freezer. Use within 1 to 2 months for best results.

To thaw frozen Rice Krispies Treats, allow them to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Are Rice Krispies Treats Gluten Free?

This recipe can be modified to suit a gluten free diet. Unfortunately Kellogg’s no longer makes gluten free Rice Krispies. You can find similar rice cereals that are gluten free from Mom’s Best and Nature’s Path.
