Can we just talk about the versatility of bacon for a minute here? I really believe that anything wrapped in bacon is going to be amazingly delicious. I’ve even had bacon in chocolate! Chocolate! And, it was so so good!
Due to the popularity of Brown Sugar Honey Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, I decided why mess with a good thing? This recipe for Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts is basically the same recipe, just scaled down and made with chicken!
Why This Recipe Works
- Bacon, brown sugar, and honey add tons of flavor to otherwise, plain chicken.
- The combination of sweet and salty work perfectly together.
- The chicken stays super moist as a result of wrapping it in bacon before cooking.
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts
Prep!
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Rinse and pat the chicken breasts dry.
Create!
Place the chicken breasts on a broiler pan. Sprinkle on a portion of the brown sugar and drizzle on some of the honey.
Wrap 2-3 pieces of bacon around each chicken breast, tucking the ends underneath, if possible. Top with the remaining brown sugar and honey.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F. For crispier bacon, place the pan under the broiler for a of couple minutes, watching constantly to prevent it from burning.
Present!
Serve with the sides of your choice and enjoy!

FAQ’s

To check for doneness, either use a meat thermometer (chicken is done at 165°F) or slice it open to make sure it is no longer pink in the center.
- How do you grill Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts? Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook the wrapped chicken breasts, turning often, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
