The April 2017 Julep Subscription Box is full of gorgeous nail polish and make-up selections!
I took a long break from Julep and now only get a box a few times a year. There is so much nail polish in my house, it’s a bit ridiculous. I keep my subscription active and just choose to skip the months I don’t love the selections. The April 2017 Julep Subscription Box was one I could not pass up! The nail polish colors are gorgeous! The new eyeshadows are just too pretty to pass up!
I not only purchased the April 2017 Julep Subscription Box, but also added on 3 extras. When you add 3 extras, Julep will send you a free gift. In addition to the free gift, they also sent me another free nail polish!
Here is the breakdown of everything that I ordered:
April 2017 Julep Subscription Box Selections
Feels Like Velvet Eyeshadow Duo’s in Fifth Avenue & Broadway and Silk and Cashmere
The Fifth Avenue & Broadway eyeshadow duo just screams Summer to me. I had to have it! It’s even more gorgeous in person! The colors are a pink-nude matte shadow and a tan shimmery shadow.
The Silk and Cashmere are just classic everyday natural shades that will get plenty of use! Both are matte powders.
Julep Nail Color in Josie
This nail color is from the Bombshell collection. It’s a beautiful peach creme polish that also has Summer written all over it! This polish, along with the two eyeshadow duos are what came as my April 2017 Julep Subscription Box.
Add-On Choices
ta-da! Quick Dry Drops
I LOVE these Quick Dry Drops! I ran out months ago, and rarely paint my nails now because the polish doesn’t dry quick enough for me. Having two kids and working from home, I can’t sit around waiting for my nails to dry! I’m hoping to stay more on top of keeping my nails painted again, now that I am restocked!
Cuticle Pusher
My almost 2-year-old got a hold of my old cuticle pusher. It was MIA for weeks. I finally found it when I turned on my treadmill and heard a tearing sound! The cuticle pusher was stuck underneath and my treadmill was torn halfway down! The cuticle pusher was bent and useless. Obviously, I had to buy a new one!
Julep Nail Color in Leisl
This is another color from this month’s selections. It’s a light blue cream. I absolutely love pastels for Summer with a tan! I will need to be on top of my self-tanning this year, for sure!
Free Gifts
Julep Nail Color in Eliza
This is a darker blue shadow with what looks like silver shimmer in it. It’s really pretty. I’m not sure I will use it because it’s just not a color I would chose for myself. I’m sure I will find someone I can give it to who will love it!
Julep Nail Color in Tatiana
This is the surprise free polish that Julep included this month. I’m not sure if everyone will receive the same color. My guess is that it will vary.
Again, I’m not sure this orange-gold shimmery nail polish is for me, but it’s so pretty! It reminds me of a sunset.
